Ok…as I stated in an earlier post, I’m trying to increase my Alexa rank so I need to post on things more related to webmaster content. I want to pimp my blog a little so I’m going to take the advice of one of my buddies and use Feedburner to manage my feeds. According to Wikipedia:

“FeedBurner is a news feed management provider launched in 2004. FeedBurner provides custom RSS feeds and management tools to bloggers, podcasters, and other web-based content publishers. Services provided to publishers include traffic analysis and an optional advertising system. FeedBurner is a typical Web 2.0 service, providing web service application programming interfaces (APIs) to allow other software to interact with it.”

Marshall Kirkpatrick wrote on his blog, “How And Why To Use Feedburner” where he reinforced basically what my buddy said, the most important to me being that it makes it easier than ever for readers to subscribe to your feed. By email, MyYahoo, Bloglines, Newsgator and more are all options with at most two clicks I can be added to your reader! Some readers may be like oh no….but you have to admit you like some of the things I write, no? This also helps to attract attention and subscribers to my Alexa ranking plan. I’d like some tips if and webmaster is willing to help out 🙂
